Dear friends,

With genuine pleasure we’d like to invite you to participate in our gathering this year. We’d like you bring your loved ones with you, especially your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We’d like the younger generations to share our day with us. It’s not important if those attending don’t carry the Štambuk family name. As we don’t have everyone’s address please provide those that you’re bringing along with the following information and direct them to the Štambuk association website: www.stambuk.hr . There they can get more information.

ŠTAMBUK 2020 ZAGREB

Day and date of event: Saturday, 30th of May 2020
Place: Lukavac tennis center, Nova Cesta, no. 31, Lukavec
Type of event: all-day sport and recreational activities , food and drink and socialising.
Program:
10.00 – 11 00 meeting-up with a welcome drink then brunch
11.00 – 12.00 Familiarization and a short meeting
12.00 – 15.00 free form activities – do as you please
15.00 – 17 00 lunch (a barbecue)
17.00 – 20.00 free form activities, music, singing and dancing

Deadline for informing us if attending: Monday, 25.5.2020.
Cost: 50 Kuna for those younger than 18, for those over 18, 100 Kuna.
What you will get is fun in good company, a welcome drink, brunch, a barbecue lunch, refreshments and the use of all the sports facilities (tennis, five a side soccer, badminton). Bring your own balls and rackets and any other equipment. Bring cards to play Briscola or Bela! Maybe you’d like to participate in the small orienteering competition?
Whoever wishes to can bring something sweet (something Dalmatian perhaps, fritters, cantuccini, some Brač specialities or some other recipe of your choice) – it would be sure to cheer everyone up.
Payment: in cash on arrival. There is the possibility of paying the association’s cashier for attending the event along with your annual membership.
How to get to the event: Driving from the direction of Zagreb turn towards Velika Gorica. Follow the road signs to: Odra, Hrašce, Lukavec and the American embassy. After passing under the overpass turn left (on to Velika cesta). Drive along this main road (after 460m it turns right into Novozagrebacka ulica). Drive straight along Novozagrebacka ulica for 600m. When you get to the crossroads where you can only turn either left or right, turn left and after 80m that road will veer right into ulica Antuna Arbanasa. Driving along ulica Antuna Arbanasa and after 2.5km it will pass over a canal with embankments. 920m after the second set of embankments turn right at the crossroads onto Nova Cesta. There you will see a road sign for Š 305 ZG. Drive for 420 m and at the end of the road at number 31 is where the event is being held.

Have a look at our genealogy records (we have over 1870 signed up), join the association or renew your membership. Meet Štambuk family members that you haven’t met before. Let’s teach our younger generations to enjoy and keep alive the tradition of socializing and staying in contact with acquaintances and friends (not just via social networks).
